The intimates brand 4WBW was founded in New York City by two sisters, Lisa and Frieda. A purpose for women to feel comfortable in their own skin. A feeling, an inspiration to help fellow young ladies accomplish dreams through confidence and strength. With that 4WBW (4 Women By Women) was born.
With Frieda, a role model to women's voices being heard, and Lisa, a mentor to building confidence and self love, both realized community over competition. Women need to support one another. Women need to feel empowered, enlightened, confident and comfortable.
Founders
Lisa, a mother of three, PTA president, and daughter from a family of successful entrepreneurs, was looking to start her next venture. Realizing the gap of comfort and self love in lingerie, she wanted to build intimates that felt comfortable on the skin, physically and mentally. Lingerie that enhances one's natural beauty and molds to each body type perfectly.
Frieda, a constant leader in speaking your mind without fear, felt the need to create an intimates line that empowered women. A line for ladies to take charge and be heard. Lending her voice through lingerie, women receive the self confidence that is deserved.
